On behalf of the Alpha Psi Education, Scholarship, and Leadership Foundation, a very sincere thank you for your support and/or purchase of a Super Bowl raffle ticket(s).
This is our 5th year participating in the Super Bowl Raffle sponsored by the Community Foundation of San Joaquin; and because of your help, we have since raised over $100,000 contributing to 36 scholarships, 8 grants, and 2 leader development programs! We have also had 18 raffle prize winners, now including 2 grand prize winners! This year, we congratulate Matthew Dunn, Bill Masotti, and Loan Nguyen on their prizes including 2 tickets to Super Bowl 52 and $2,000 cash! Thank you again for supporting our vision of ‘creating tomorrow’s leaders’!
· A total of 3899 tickets were sold for an income of $389,900 to the 32 agencies involved. 90% is guaranteed for the participating agencies. Spanos Family donated an additional amount to make the total fund raising $400,000. Alpha Psi sold a total of 217 tickets which put us at 139% of goal (Target sales goal from Spanos 155 tickets).
· In the agency award bracket, Alpha Psi won both the (a) Most Valuable Player (Highest Percentage Above Goal) and (b) #1 Draft Pick (Congeniality) Awards.
“I would like to acknowledge and personally thank Ed Larimer for his time and efforts with the Super Bowl Raffle. Not only does Ed do the bookkeeping and track tickets for Alpha Psi; Ed has also volunteered his time with the CFOSJ over the past 4 days to help with the huge influx of tickets sold during this time span. I feel fortunate to have Ed on our team and thank you for all you have done for us since starting the Super Bowl Raffle 5 years ago.” – Matt Dunn, Chairman, Super Bowl Raffle Sales Subcommittee
And now, here are the winners from our group of sales:
· In the raffle drawing, we had 3 winners —
· Matt Dunn — $250 cash prize
· Bill Masotti won a Pier 39 Family Fun Pack
· Loan Nguyen winning 2 Tickets to Super Bowl 52 plus $2,000 cash.
Congratulations to our very own board member, Loan Nguyen, on willing a Super Bowl 52 Package and $2,000 Cash! This is our second winner of the Super Bowl Grand Prize out of the 5 years running the raffle, the previous winner being Greg Schapansky for Super Bowl 50.
