The Foundation

A very successful 2005 Alpha Psi 50th anniversary energized a small group of alumni to invest our energies and resources in developing an organization that would allow alumni and others to give back to the future of the School of Pharmacy and Fraternity that had given them such a good launch in life. They wanted to build something that was important and lasting, that would provide financial support for students pursuing a career in pharmacy.

The Foundation is a leader in providing support for student pharmacists in education, scholarship, and leadership development. Our scholarships and awards recognize achievements and leadership skills, and our campus-based leader development workshops provide leadership training for all Chapter Actives and Candidates. These skills include the ability to cast a vision, set goals, be creative, show confidence, solve problems, and prepare courses of action that draw on the talents and insight of different people.

MISSION

The Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt public benefit corporation, provides scholarships and leadership development for student pharmacists and new practitioners.
